My best friend just called me! From China!
It's her twenty-first birthday. She's hanging out with her friends on her study-abroad program. It was ... so good to hear her voice. I miss her dreadfully.
That was a singularly wonderful start to the day.

I miss you too!!!! I'm glad my pathetic drunken phone call made your day. And apparently that third shot had lots of different kinds of alcohol, as I discovered later.
